Well I be damned, Sarasota pulls their head out of their ass and does something worthwhile. There are still homeless there but from what it looks like, theres not that many anymore.

One rumor I heard was they gave them a bus ticket out of town to basically anywhere as long as it was out of Sarasota. Most of them migrated to Bradenton, sadly, and now they are making a mess of things here. The area I live in used to have one or two that floated around, but now they've got a whole camp near a Taco Bell and another behind a Wawa gas station that was built in front of a former Sweetbay (aka Kash n' Karry).

Manatee and the city of Bradenton need to take the same approach, or we get over run with them.
