I will sound crazy here but for me it was seeing ufos that turned me into a critical thinker and ultimately red pilled me. I knew what I experienced wasn't normal but everyone around me would try to explain what I was seeing away as mundane things I must have misidentified. One time I was on a cig break with one of those peoples wife when we had a dramatic sighting. She told her husband later and he got really upset about it. People are weird.
