Demand you speak with the CEO of the hospital and tell them you're going to sue for emotional damages.

It worked for us. God speed, pede.

They don't want smart people observing the lack of people in the ER and ICU.

Thats it.

I "got lost" in an ICU two weeks ago. Empty beds. They then told me I couldn't see my family member. I told them I have a Constitutional lawyers on retainer [white lie] and would sue the company for emotional damages if I couldn't see them.

They made "an exception".

They lie to us, lie back. Don't swear, don't lose your cool. Speak to the highest paid asshole in that hospital on site right now.

Absolutely this. Hospital administrators don't want your headache on their watch. So give them the biggest gaping headache you can without going to jail. I'd find everyone in admin and doctors on that ward and tag them all on a LinkedIn post shaming them for this behavior.

Not sure how things work in Canada tho.

The sad thing is this is basic communist society. You must lie & cheat & steal & strongarm others because that is the only way to get your basic human wants & needs--Because there is no common decency where rights are not recognized. This is what my parents & grandparents grew up in.

The USA is already devolving into a communist society & The 'Rona is the catalyst speeding it up. There will only be more of this if we don't fight back for our freedoms, first by every legal means, then by violence if still ignored.

Plenty of people in the ICU and ER and floors I worked on in Alabama. No more COVID ICU beds at the travel assignment I'm currently on. Had to keep an active stroke on the med/surg COVID floor because there were no beds.
