Living in Ohio. My mother works in a nursing home. The requirements while working there are to be tested once every 3 to 7 days (rapid). Her position requires twice a week. Positive tested(rapid) residents are to be quarantined in their room until a second positive test (non rapid) in which case they are sent to the covid wing, or a negative test (non rapid) then its back to business as usual. If a NURSE Tests positive (rapid) they continue to work business as usual until a second positive test (non rapid), then its home quarantine. The time between the first positive and the second positive can be 3-4 days. While working with elderly patients...it’s an absolute cluster fuck. My mom is like ‘I don’t know why we are seeing such a spike’...I’m like...common fucking sense? If it’s real, that’s being treated wrong. If it’s fake, the numbers are inflated by those weird ass tests.
