This is a great question, and I don’t know the answer, but as a starting point:

• The very wealthy don’t generate wealth in a vacuum, but by manipulating and wagering on the masses. They no doubt rationalize it the same way that the non-wealthy can rationalize slave labor for their electronics.

• With those kinds of resources, and viewing humanity as an ant farm, you get Bill Gates alarm about population growth. You get George Soros executing a clearly defined plan to take down America. Actually a genius-level exploitation of our existing government structure, i.e. installing attorneys general and secretaries of State across the United States to control the vote.
