I’m wondering if it is any different than an average flu. Flu’s have always hit some harder than others. I’ve had flu’s that left me laying on the bathroom floor, feeling like I was dying. Hasn’t everyone? A brother in law, and friend of friend said they tested positive for Covid. One had no symptoms, but was tested through his job. The other went to the hospital after a car accident, and happened to have mild cold symptoms, so neither knew they had it, and wouldn’t have been tested otherwise. Those are the only personal Covid stories I know of. On the other hand, I know 2 elderly people who died of influenza about 5 years ago. Did people suddenly forget that regular flu’s have always been around?
