I want to go visit, but hesitate to enter the fray right now. As a former cop, he's sick of what's happening with cops right now. The other day he was walking to the store to get cigs and spotted a guy outside the bank near him. He stopped and watched the guy, who was waiting for an old lady to come out. He grabbed her purse and knocked her down. My friend ran after the guy and got him. Two cops across the street were on their phones so they were oblivious. The lady will forever be grateful.
Friend had to go to precinct and got accused of being violent by the perp. Now they want him to go to court over it. He won't and basically says screw them.
