Don't know why you posted this here, but I met Bowie a bunch of times in the early 90s (Tin Machine era) and he was one of the most personable, funny, friendly, and witty guys I ever met. One second he is this legend in your mind, the next he's standing in front of you making you laugh and cutting himself down. It's a cherished memory.
