Yeah. I only got to watch for a few minutes. They were not stellar witnesses.

I'm gonna assume they're nervous as shit, which sucks. Plus their limited amount of time doesn't help.

No, they don't. Which is why there should have been extra effort by the witnesses to be prepared to succinctly state their case.
