Not all states have teacher unions... here in Texas we can't. It sucks working as a teacher when everyone lumps you in w all the asshats in blue states brainwashing kids. Not all of us are like that.
But I did just get over Rona which I caught at school. So that is a legit thing as well.
Teacher here. Let's be careful not to cast a wide net on the profession. There are thousands of conservative teachers, even in California, who never bought into Common Core, who fight every day to allow conservative voices in the classroom, and who openly object to administrators when we see blatant denigration of Trump/Republicans in school-sponsored activities. It takes a lot of guts to do this when surrounded by liberal sharks.
