My guess is the hearings make people put two and two together. Maybe he thought it was just normal to deliver ballots, I mean dozens of such deliveries were completely legitimate before the election wherever states ordered from print shops out of state. But with the new hearings bringing their illegal methods to light, it makes people more aware that what they saw was not legit.
