Do you think those of use without military experience will be helpful or useful? Serious question. Anything you might suggest to prepare aside from gear and fitness?

The difference between a soldier and civilian is 3 months and an oath.

Remember this. You can still be a soldier without a boot camp. Especially with what I've seen boot camp is these days....

You should look into some of the changes made late in the obama regime to our military training if you haven't. It's basically just a physical fitness test for anyone who can sign their name at this point.

He put so many hyper liberals in positions of power in the military, even with Trump's hard work, they are still influencing the recruits and promoting their friends. It's rough.

There’s a female Infantryman who can’t stay off TikTok. She likes to cake on makeup and post tons of annoying videos including ones where she gets angry and goes off about stuff. She already made Corporal... she hasn’t been in long at all... I swear, having a TikTok should be grounds for reduction in rank, especially when the SM is an NCO.

When I was in, you weren’t picking up an NCO slot without a deployment, CIB and a Ranger Tab (granted, the Tab is a requirement).

At least there are certain units that keep with tradition.

Right, so I understand physical conditioning. I work as a civilian but work specifically with service members and military families.

I’m wondering what might be useful in terms of studying. What do y’all learn in your training? AIT? Don’t they cover the educational aspects or warfare?

Honestly just knowing personal responsibility and how to live in the woods is a great start.

You'd be surprised how many people don't even know how to purify water from a river.

Giardia has a 7 day incubation period. We should probably make it an explicit goal to wrap this thing up faster than that or we're gonna be in deep shit. Literally.

Here's a pdf about unconventional/guerilla warfare: https://www.soc.mil/ARIS/books/pdf/Unconventional%20Warfare%20Pocket%20Guide_v1%200_Final_6%20April%202016.pdf

I'd suggest going to your local bookstore and purchasing books about guerilla warfare and survival techniques as well. Use cash so that your transactions are not tracked.

Many of us trained 18 year old privates from places like Detroit and Cleveland in a couple of months. We can get you up to speed my patriot friend.

Training or no training, every patriot has a purpose.
