I’m wondering what might be useful in terms of studying. What do y’all learn in your training? AIT? Don’t they cover the educational aspects or warfare?

Giardia has a 7 day incubation period. We should probably make it an explicit goal to wrap this thing up faster than that or we're gonna be in deep shit. Literally.
I'd suggest going to your local bookstore and purchasing books about guerilla warfare and survival techniques as well. Use cash so that your transactions are not tracked.

Honestly just knowing personal responsibility and how to live in the woods is a great start.

well, it won't be that deep. giardia causes floating stool.
Oh, well that's a relief then.
I have unfortunately failed to acquire any first hand experience in the giardia department. The good old boy scouts of america robbed me of that one.
