I don't think we've seen ISIS or Antifa's true face yet. They were probing the defenses for weakness over the summer. Developing tactics. Determining friends and foes. They've been caching weapons in churches all over the country.
The worst mistake we could make would be to underestimate our enemies. They have been planning this for over 100 years, and their entrenchment in our system goes far deeper than I think any of us are completely aware.
I recognize we live in different times, but the Bolshevik Revolution started in 1917, installed one (perhaps two? I have a shitty memory) interim governments that ended up crumbling, before Lenin took power SIX YEARS later.
I think it would be wise to take note of history, and to not underestimate our enemies (and they are many), and to not be overconfident, nor expect everything to be resolved "in one afternoon", because our enemies have many-layered plans to keep trying to bring their horrific communist vision of America the Failed State to fruition.
I definitely agree with you, but I think it should be the last, worst option, that it will be much longer and more protracted than anyone wants, that its effects would be devastating, and that we would be also fighting off foreign invasion while engulfed in a civil war that would not have a convenient Mason-Dixon line. It would be pure chaos and a horrible thing to live through, and I pray every day that God will spare us that fate.

Well, I hope we at least agree that the most likely scenario in which we win is civil war.
