Where are you, Georgia?

I'm relaying someone else's tweet who's a journalist watching the recount, I thought pedes could want to know.

I think the question was directed towards pedes in Georgia asking why they're not there, as opposed to asking for your location.

I'd hazard a guess that many who would have gone there didn't even know it was happening. so keep bringing the info!

No. He put a comma before Georgia.

Where are you, Georgia?

If he he meant it how you think he meant it it would be, "Where are you Georgia?"

Think of it like "Where are you, Time Square?"

That is, unless your reply was basically saying, " His grammar was incorrect, but I think he was meaning to say..." in which case you may very well be right.

Personally, I initially took it the same way the original reply took it before reading your follow up.

In my reading the grammar is still correct since this pede is addressing the personification of Georgia. E.g.. Where are you, [people of] Georgia?

Would it make sense to say "Where are you, Tom?" In this reference you use the noun Georgia as a complete personification of the people of Georgia, or as if you were addressingGeorgia as a single entity. You're basically inter changing Tom and Georgia between our 2 examples.

Based on my understanding of the vocative comma, yes, "Where are you, Tom?" would be the correct way to ask Tom of his whereabouts.

I certainly understand how the original sentence can be read the other way, and perhaps that was the intention, but it seemed to me like an odd way to ask as opposed to something more direct such as "Are you in Georgia?"... And also given the context of the post I think reading it as the personification of Georgia makes more sense overall.

I volunteered multiple times to be a poll watcher for them and to go door to door. Went to events and everything. Never heard a word back, even after reaching out to remind them. Clearly I wasn't an insider that could be trusted with the steal.

WTF?

You guys want them to steal this?

Come on, get in there

I’ve been saying it for a while. GA pedes need to be ashamed.

5
Msmcontrolsnarrative 5 points ago +7 / -2

Perhaps the problem lies with the people who had prior knowledge but didn't reach out and let people know?

14
darkhorsereddit3 14 points ago +14 / -0

The problem lies with the people of Georgia who aren’t in the streets right now letting the state know we are furious

I'm not terribly angry that they can't keep up with all the active fraud hustles Dems are pulling out. I'm more angry at the actual fraud and the politicians who are willingly assisting.

isn't this recount a sham again? They aren't even checking signatures

8
FLatinoKAG 8 points ago +8 / -0

Yes, it's another fake recount. Nobody wants to watch that garbage. We want signature verification.

2
Vla1ne 2 points ago +2 / -0

We still need to be there to make sure they aren't skimping the little bit they are supposed to be working on. They found 55k votes off just the recount, why not pin them for it again?

Of course... The right is too worried about their own lives to show up!! They don't feel like part of the community anymore because they ran all their lives from the big cities and into the suburbs where you don't communicate with anyone... EVERYTHING is online now and nobody fucking shows up!! And everyone wonders why the left is winning!!!! ... They at least have the balls to show up!! And don't give me any "they don't have jobs" bullshit!! I own a business and have 3 kids and I make it the fuck out!!! Plus I'm not afraid like most people on the right!! I grew up in the city and went to a school I was one of only 4 white kids I grew up fighting just to keep my fucking shoes!!! I'm willing to bet that at least 70% of the people on this sight have never been in a real fight in their lives!!..... We won't win if you don't show up y'all!!!! You know what happens when you "trust the plan" and do nothing???..... NOTHING!!!

LadyLuck 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well, you can't observe shit with the set up like that anyway.

2
VetforTrump2 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who the fuck can observe from that distance. That pic is proof of rhe uselessness of it because of their fake rules

2
fdagasfd 2 points ago +2 / -0

To be fair if you believe fraud occurred recounting the fraudulent ballots without an audit is meaningless.

Guy on twitter sgt Mal, needs help immediately

2
Dieselslacker 2 points ago +2 / -0

I made a post

2
DeathBattleFan123 2 points ago +2 / -0

I was an observer in one GA county for multiple days during the "audit". There's no point in observing the electronic recount. It is meaningless, but worse still, they dont let you observe the most critical steps to the recount.

1
flashersenpai 1 point ago +1 / -0

A "recount" that you can "observe"? Why show up?

1
BrewSwillis 1 point ago +1 / -0

They think the longer they can drag this out, Trump supporters will become demoralized, and lose interest....... maybe they are right?

It is starting to look unsaveable. The Swamp is stepping up hard to squash this. It appears that we may eventually need a different course of action?

obamagavemeaphone 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even California has bigger gatherings! Come on, GEORGIA!

we want an AUDIT!!

Q said nothing can stop what is coming, so helping the recount would just be wasting your time. (Since nothing can stop it. Nothing.)

Q is very real. A very successful psyop.

This is a genuine question, not a jab... if Q isn't real, why does the administration let a lot of the base continue under the assumption that it's real?
