They called it early because Trump was winning by such a larger than expected margin, they needed to disenfranchise voters who were still planning on going out and voting so there wouldn't be as big of a hill to climb to swing it to Biden.

It was a total joke when they called states pre-emptively WHILE Trump was thousands of votes ahead. Virginia is another fine example of this and how Trump was something like 20% ahead but they were still calling it for Biden. They even had Texas in light blue which was hilarious.
They also called CA in under 3 minutes, yet Alaska took over a week...

Every state that had Dominion voting systems, all took more than a day to count the votes. Whereas, other states completed their counts in 3 to 4 hours. Why do some states even prefer the Dominion? Obvious reason, allows election fraud.
