I believe they are twisting Barr's words. From what I have seen, he was just saying that as of NOW, they don't have the evidence, but they are still investigating... He didn't conclude that there was not enough evidence, he just said that at this time, he didn't have it. Still open. That's how I took it. Am I wrong?

That is what's important not some random comment that the media could have twisted his words. President Trump's lawyers had to address it whether it was his words or not ... This is their whole case. so They have to push back against any narrative that is countering their case.

He outright told the Trump team to pursue the cases via civil suits. As the DoJ will take years to bring a criminal case. Civil courts are quicker...and they have less of a standard of evidence than criminal courts.
If you investigate more than 5 minutes and “don’t have evidence” you have to be corrupt or complicit.

If I was on the legal team, I'd issue an official response as well, regardless of whether or not I knew if the AP quote was accurate. What the statement does is put the team's rebuttal of the AP out there, put pressure on the DOJ, demonstrate how useless the DoJ has been, divert attention back to their legal case, and gives them an opportunity to again state their case to an audience that is different than the one that has been following their hearings.
They are getting ahead of whatever Barr's narrative is going to be - something you always want to do when it comes to PR. I'd be worried if they didn't jump on the opportunity, tbh. What the letter does not do, however, is confirm that what the AP quoted Barr saying is accurate. It can be just as likely that the AP printed this in attempt to force Barr's hand (to respond by either defending the fraud claims, or to throw all of them under the bus), and the letter was written for the same reason.
I trust the AP like I trust a fox to watch chickens. We have to consider how the media frame issues, as well as how our guys frame things - read the Trump Team’s statement on Barr’s supposed comments. Maybe it’s just me, but it doesn’t strike me as a bunch of people in-fighting, anymore than their statement on Sidney Powell not being part of the team did.
Who cares if he said it. So we find out another person we thought was based actually isnt. It achieves nothing to point it out or post about it. It slides useful news, data and corruption off of the front page that actually does achieve something. OP is correct.

I think the plan is to hype up Biden's win as much as possible. Reinforce the normies perception that Biden won. That way, when it all starts falling apart, all the idiots who still believe the lies will believe Trump is a "dictator" staging a coup because he refuses to leave.

But I'm also focused on the fact that far too many judges and politicians are allowing blatant election fraud, and violations of Law and Constitution, to go unpunished, right under their noses. Court cases, testimony, and whistleblowers are no use to us if judges and politicians don't act on the evidence presented. These corrupt people are part of the problem--actually they're the CORE of the problem--and they MUST be dealt with.
The question they need to be asking themselves is, whose wrath would they rather be on the receiving end of. A federal court? The Department of Justice? Or a hundred million heavily-armed Pedes with guns, nooses, and gasoline?
