She looks and sounds like a 1930s/1940s gumshoe detective's secretary.

She's not what I would call a star witness, but she told them what she saw and she works very well as a Fact Witness which is about the most important witness you can get on a case. It's just above an expert witness in importance, if they can be substantiated. And is enough in criminal court to convict people usually.

She needs some coaching on how to answer, but I think she could be a star witness.

She kept saying "discard it," they didn't know that she meant to say discard the count on the tabulator and start the count again with the problem ballot on top of the batch.

And I think that the books being "less off" this time around is a clear indicator that someone fixed the log book and tried to hide something. Just my gut.
