Here is Eric Coomer demonstrating what Melissa Carone was trying to say but it is hard if you do not know the equipment or are not technical minded . Like trying to fix someones printer or PC over the phone to someone who has no idea what machine they have or software they are running .

EXPLANATION .

The scanner for absentee ballots is just an off the shelf Cannon scanner . NOT A TRADITIONAL TABULATOR , where the ballots go in & are stored inside the machine . The ballots are scanned & tabulated / counted on the Dominion Interface & are stored on a flash drive .

The Cannon scanner is connected to the Dominion interface which is just a touchscreen .

They scan in batches of 50 - at a time I think she said . So 50 absentee ballots are loaded into the tray , each ballot is scanned through the machine & finishes up in the exit tray just like your home scanner or printer .

Now absentee ballots will come in all different states , folded , crinkled etc .

What I think she is trying to say is that when the scanner scans the 50 ballots it will stop & flag that there is a problem ballot & show up on the screen the options . In the same way as you would encounter a paper jam . Some papers would make through the machine & end up on the exit tray whilst the others that are waiting to be loaded have not been ran through the machine because of the paper jam . Same thing happens with the ballots . Those that went through the machine were scanned into the computer , whilst the others are waiting to make it through the machine in the loading tray cannot because of the problem of the flagged ballot .

So what happens is you discard or cancel the whole action / process the scanner has just performed . You take the all the ballots out from both trays , straighten them up & place the problem ballot on top of the stack of 50 . Then you load the tray with the 50 ballots & rescan them . Now if all the ballots go through into the exit tray then all the ballots have been scanned successfully & the total ballots counted should show that 50 ballots have passed through the machine & have been counted .

This is the proper & correct process which did not happen according to Melissa's testimony .

Hope this clears some shit up .
