Former lefty here. I've known a bunch of people who transitioned. The women who decided to identify as men were generally a very chill bunch. Not sexualized (AT ALL) not creepy, usually just wanted to drink beer and watch sports. Whatever.
But the men who decided to identify as women? Different story. Very predatory. Lots of inappropriate touching (I'm a girl). Frankly, even when I was a lefty it seemed to me they were just identifying as women to get control over women and women's spaces. Not good.
Sure! I was raised a Unitarian Universalist. We were taught from a young age that trannies were good and natural, etc. As a 14 year old, I had an odd experience with a man claiming to be a woman in my church. It made me very uncomfortable. So I had some hesitations around men saying they were women for a long time, despite my upbringing. I started dating my now husband in 2012. He also came from a leftist family and was a very serious communist when I met him, he was actually a lot more far left than I was. I'd flirted with Ayn Rand in high school but I was still pretty leftist. We both slowly became red pilled together. Charlie Hebdo was a big turning point for both of us. We'd lived in the neighborhood where the attacks happened and had just left Paris a few weeks before the horror. We were both shocked by how the media reported on Charlie Hebdo and how the MSM defended terrorism and attacked free speech. Realizing Anita Sarkeesian was a ridiculous con artist also helped. We both just became more and more red pilled from there.
That’s nuts! I hate that you had to have a bad experience in order to question the insanity of the left. I do love that you are a part of the MAGA team though!

Love the username. Care to share how you became Red Pilled? What was the final straw?
