She can’t walk out 1/3 of the states. I am sure at least 2/3 of the states have at least 1 R rep. If they stay, they would be the state’s delegation by default.

If Nancy walks out, what stops Nunes from claiming he is the delegation from CA? What are they going to do say he isn’t while in hiding ? If they show up it doesn’t matter because there is still a quorum and Trump will have the votes by state delegation.

Exactly, and Trump would win 50-0, as opposed to something like 26-24.

I don't think it'll come to the House of Reps, though. It would take both men failing to get the majority of electoral votes when it's time for the college to vote.

If, however, a state like PA simply refuses to send their 20 electors, as is their right, the magic number drops from 270 to 260.

It's not as simple as "neither man has 270" it has to be "neither man has a majority of the electors appointed and present when the college convenes to cast its vote for President."

There's not a scenario where electors would be sent to vote without an understanding of whom they are voting for. And if they're not sent at all, then the number needed for the majority simply drops.

In that case, Trump needs literally every swing state (NV, AZ, WI, MI, PA, GA) to decline to send electors. That would give him the majority of those present 232-227.

The more likely path to victory is: SCOTUS tells the state houses that their elections were compromised and the vote totals can't be trusted: Send your own electors as per your Constitutional duty, Article 2 Sec 1.2. In that case Trump would win with any three of PA, WI, MI, GA, or AZ.

while technically true, NO STATE is going to just "not send" their electors.

That would be intentionally disenfanchising all their voters, and will NOT happen, not by ANY state.

GA. WI, and AZ only would mean 269.

THIS - Piglosi would need more than 1/3 of the states to literally have not a single MAGA GOP rep. I havent done the math, but that isnt likely. Even the blue states have at least 1 GOP rep.
