If you don't add any "flavor" to those words, it's a typical Barr statement. He isn't saying there isn't fraud. He's saying the DOJ hasn't determined it.
I don't know if the DOJ is investigating. But President Trump does seem to think it was important to retweet this tweet.
Barr is so difficult because he is always so quiet about what he is doing and he'd rather tweak people's noses (by "people", I mean the media) than give a straight answer on anything.
Does that mean he is "Deep State"? no. Does that mean he is super MAGA? no.
I've always suspected Barr is simply a middle of the road kind of guy. And that may mean he believes that the DOJ should only get involved in elections after the fact (and there is a legal reasoning behind that, as it would be criminal investigations at that point, and that muddies political waters).
The bottom line is, Barr will not save this. SCOTUS will. SCOTUS was always the path forward. What Barr does, if anything, will be in the future investigating fraud in a past election. And if he is a true patriot, that will mean prison sentences for those who perpetrated it. Other than that, I do not expect Barr to do anything right now, other than perhaps lending DOJ services to establishing evidence already identified for civil cases involved in this.

This statement says: "some media outlets have incorrectly reported"", this means some media outlets have spun Barr's words to mean more than they meant.
It does not mean the AP falsely reported. It means other media outlets falsely reported on what the AP reported. That means what Barr said still promoted the statement from the White House.
So I do not think this clears Barr, only the spin on Barr's statements.
