111th still falls under TRADOC. Their job is to train soldiers. TRADOC units are not operational and are not combatant commands. They are not units that go out and smash dicks overseas. They train people how to do a job using industrial training methods to get someone qualified for their MOS.

I'm a veteran, former Naval Cryptogist. I know many cryptos who went to 305th at Ft Huachuca for analyst training as a continuum school. Meaning, they were already top analysts, capable of doing the job very well before they even arrived.
