Yeah, we need to forget about voting machines and use strictly paper ballots with extreme safeguards. Film each ballot being counted. National Voter registration database that can be checked against State and county. And a national requirement for voter ID. Put a little Q Code or something on every legal voter's driver's license (or DMV photo ID). Oh and quit giving fucking illegal aliens driver's licenses or IDs, or anything except deportation.
We do this in Canada but apparently Assange said today that international balloting with paper may have been compromised by the Chinese postal service. I know my parents voted this way for the Italian election - absentee paper ballots. Who knows if their votes got changed. Why can't embassies do the foreign votes and counts?
