Perjury happens all the time. Zero risk? Not actually zero, but practically speaking, perjury almost never gets prosecuted. I see it all the time, and nobody who could prosecute it is going to do so unless it's politically motivated.
How many deep staters have been caught lying under oath, which is perjury? How many of them are in jail?
It's effectively no risk for filling out a false affidavit; if you get convicted of doing so, you were on somebody's shitlist and were going to get Michael Flynn'd one way or another.
For these whistle blowers, there is a REAL risk. If the democrats win, they will go after these people to the full extent of the law. Their lives will be ruined. And we all know it.
For those who are genuinely on our side, yes. Keep in mind this thread is about the democrats putting out false narratives to try and honeypot or deflect.
If this guy is legit that's fine, however, if he's a democrat operative who is filing a false affidavit to engage in pernicious shenanigans on behalf of the democrats, which was suggested by OP, then they are effectively at zero risk.
You don't honestly think if, as OP suggested, this guy is a democrat operative, that Barr's DOJ would actually prosecute him, do you?
If perjury is almost never prosecuted, what is the point in the courts at all?
Also, no risk for filling out a false affadavit!?
You seem to be in the know more than most, but that seems extremely infuriating....Anyone can sign an affadavit, so anyone can lie and not get done for perjury...the only ones that do get something done are those with money?
I'm thinking it is not just big tech which needs a shake up, or maybe, like the woman in MI/IL testimony stated...the rules just need to be actually followed. Equally.
I think politicians in office are allowed to lie without it being illegal. Maybe a lawyer can correct me here?
Also an affidavit is not really a public legal document until it gets entered into a court proceeding, I think. Anyone can go to a notary public and create an affidavit. The notary public simply looks at your identification credentials and asks if you swear that the document is true.
Dude. Witness statements and affidavits are different things. I asked if he signed an affidavit. An affidavit is always done under oath. "An affidavit, derived from the medieval Latin and translated as โhe/she has declared upon oath,โ is a written sworn statement of fact made voluntarily under an affirmation or oath. "
Isn't it five years in prison for lying?

It's still important to know if he signed an affidavit. If he didn't it means literally nothing. If he did, it has to be considered.
Now do a conservative.
They arenโt deep state. They have no connections. They are ordinary citizens.

idk, how many years did McCabe, Comey and Sztrok get?
No. It's just a paper, biggest misconception on this site. It would be a huge leap to get someone prosecuted for a fake one.

Not sure what your source is but I'm not seeing that or hearing that anywhere else. I'm hearing it's perjury, which is a serious crime.
Only perjury if its sworn to a court. These are just what's called witness statements and there not even being made to government employees.

Wrong. An affidavit holds the same exact force and duty when made before a notary as a sworn oath in a court of law.
You are wrong. Even in civil depositions, it is a crime to lie
If you don't know what you're talking about you should stop talking.
all Guiliani affidavits were sworn in before they were given.
