If this guy is legit that's fine, however, if he's a democrat operative who is filing a false affidavit to engage in pernicious shenanigans on behalf of the democrats, which was suggested by OP, then they are effectively at zero risk.

So if he still has the drive and he didn't sign an affidavit, it doesn't mean anything? Can't say I agree with that position at all. I think it means that Team Trump should take possession of that drive and then take a statement from him.

It's still important to know if he signed an affidavit. If he didn't it means literally nothing. If he did, it has to be considered.
