The vaccines are not fully elucidated and optimized. But that is something you'd want to do to try and find other uses like cancer vaccines. I’ll pass for now. In a few years I’ll probably be fine with it, who knows. I’m not anti vax by stretch but I’m not comfortable with the way this one is being forced on me and I am not comfortable with the threat of not being able to travel etc unless I take it. It feels quite bullying and I don’t like it. I would be a lot more comfortable if it were not being pushed the way it is. As for someone else deciding what is good for me and the whole “we can get back to normal” if we do what we are told. It’s that exact messaging that is putting off. In addition I have an underlying heart condition and the side effects that are “not a walk in the park” are a real problem for me. The delivery of this and the messaging could hardly be worse.
Why would I trust a vaccine from manufacturers that are protected from being sued, even if it gets me killed, and still haven't gotten better than a 50% failure rate with the flu?
Also, if this does mutate every year - actually, scratch that - the truth doesn't matter. We're not going back to normal. There's no normal now.

Inaccurate. The moment you see market surveillance or post acceptance surveillance you have documented evidence that they continue to monitor for side effects; in essence saying that they are still testing just on a much larger scale.
