I know a lot of doctors who are absolute idiots. How applicants get filtered out in applying for medical school creates this problem. The way biology/pre-med is taught is all wrought memorization. It doesn’t promote independent thought. Plus, the hospital administrators don’t want doctors who challenge the status quo. They want good little employees who will do exactly as they say.

I think something like this happened to my GP. I went in to get a lump on my throat looked at which she did in like 5 minutes then spent an hour explaining all the Shady shit surrounding the democrats and Covid. A week later I got a letter from her saying she was retiring do to a sudden severe decline in health.

I had a doctor berate me in his office for 45 minutes after I set up his new wireless mesh wifi in his office. He told me I had no place being in the business that I'm in, and that I should just quit and go get a different job. Nothing I do ever works, I'm an idiot, etc.

Turns out his assistants had been playing a game of telephone and copying down the password wrong to each other and that's why it "never works"

No apology afterwards. Of course.
