Sadly, they're not even efficient at that. Paid my taxes owed prior to deadline and several months later received notice that I was delinquent and owed fines. They hadn't even cashed the check yet. Several months later the check mysteriously gets cashed, but they still want the fines for it being late, even though I sent it ON TIME.

I had just found out that my fucking county requires a license for you dog. A LICENSE! They require that a living animal get licensed for living and that you pay a $20 renewable fee annually. I'm surprised they don't fucking go door to door shooting dogs that aren't licensed just to extort the fucking money!
