Help me out here pede - been thinking of spending a few weeks in Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area but wasn't sure how hard the local mandates are enforced. Can I live daily life without businesses hassling me for not wearing a mask?
Unfortunately, my area is the Infamous Broward County, a liberal haven, so expect some social stupidity. The whole thing seems foreign to me because i refuse to participate in this madness and only give my business to those who possess sensibility and common reasoning. I would actually suggest more isolated places in Sth. Florida, including the Keys and Martin County, or even the Gulf Coast. It's a beautiful State!
At some point we have to say no. And important part of being a trailblazer is going against the grain and saying no to those that want to lockdown the healthy.
waiting in line for a return the other day, i overheard one of the managers at costco the other day, talking to his buddy about the masks. basically their discussion was that all the products that depend on samples are way down, and a lot of people want to dump all the mask nonsense, but the lawyers won't let them.
That is why customers need to be vocal and call corporate. AT this point I say we can't wait for the government to help us when it comes to mask mandates.
They now have a person just standing in front of a sample display. There are not even samples to take home or eat in the parking lot. It is pointless. I'm happy that they created a job, but they must be so paranoid that someone might eat a pack of fruit snacks in the store, although that would 100% happen with kids.
Why wait? I tell them to their face that you don't need to wear masks when outdoors. Some run away while others have the gear wheels turning in their heads.
Most counties are not enforcing these mandates. The mandates are to pacify the Karens.

Thats a super blue area. Choose somewhere more red and you wont have an issue. Brevard county is pretty good so far.
