Correct me if I'm wrong, but if there's no mask mandate I'm pretty sure lawyers will shit on Walmart for this. It's a lot different from no shirt/no shoes/no dice.
In the eight months this bs been going on only one restaurant has bitched about a mask. I'm in Florida as well. It's getting to the point where many employees are refusing to wear them at work as well.
I live in Naples and the Communist committee members says we have a mask mandate til April 2021. So question is can I sue any bussiness who force me to wear one in town or kick me out?
The governor says there is no mask mandate and it's up to the business to allow us in with or without a mask. I know our sherif said he refuses to use his cops to enforce any complaints from businesses about people not wearing masks
All the fucking stores here have mask mandates since end of March. I would LOVE to sue Publix or Walgreens for forcing masks.
The grocery stores here have a "security guard" at the front entrance waiting to scream at you if you come in without mask. The only time I've gotten away w it was at 7am
Exactly. Walk with a purpose, don't make eye contact. If anyone bothers you and tries to push the point after you say "no thanks," "I have a medical condition."
I haven't had this fail in any situation. Most of these employees are burnt out and not interested in a mask confrontation with a stranger because people who know masks are bullshit are tired of this and won't be quiet about it.
I’m on the other coast. I have refused masks mandates and refused to comply in my store. My employees and everyone else has a choice. Regardless my reviews on goolag and yelp have been mercilessly hammered weekly. Fuck em
Even with the Mask Gestapo agents at the door, I've found that the incantation "medical condition" is enough to shut them up. And "allergic to bullshit" is a medical condition, even if not yet documented in any medical text. :P
I've had enough practice with this by having a service dog. You constantly run into employees, cops, park rangers, etc. who want to ask you for your paperwork and license (there's no legally required paperwork or license) and think they're entitled to know all about your medical condition and intricate details about your dog they have zero legal right to ask about. Swatting away mask nazis is what I've been preparing for without realizing it, they're easy mode at this point.
in fairness, the big outbreak in Miami was the reason we had all the hysteria in Florida. probably more attributable to all the international travelers than the locals, but still y'all were going wild there for a minute. not that masks do shit, but i'm sure the local govt felt they had to do something when the numbers got so high down there. hell we were getting huge pressure up here even though things were pretty well under control just because the Miami-Dade and Broward numbers were so bad and the MSM doesn't seem to comprehend Florida isn't all the same.
Publix here (Tampa) still has mask mandates, but they are pretty much voluntary and I haven't seen anyone bitch about not wearing a mask for several months.
the numbers in Miami are all lies. My neighbor had 10 friends that were picnicking this summer & decided to go get tested. All 10 were positive & all 10 had zero symptoms. Its bullshit
Mayor of Miami beach is on CNN everyday complaining abt masks not being worn outdoors... meanwhile this whole time, South Beach (abt 30K residents) has had very very few cases. Like no deaths. Its bullshit
I've been in a compromise about this all year. I don't want to support Amazon, but at the same time I refuse to support a local business with a mask mandate. I eat lunch every day (seriously, every single day) at a place where I don't wear a mask, and (gasp!) actually sit indoors (I'm in CA as you can probably tell by my name). So lunch I feel good about, but I don't feel good about the shopping part, and supporting Amazon... hopefully stores around me will ditch the mask crap soon so I can go back to supporting $$ them.
The idea of "private property" for large public businesses disappeared along time ago. As it should - too many governments let Walmart operate while everyone else was forced to close.
Any business open to the public must have public accommodations and has to follow all kinds of federal, state, and county rules. They are not private property like your home, they are public places. As such, they cannot impede your free travel without legal reason.
There is no legislation (law on the books) requiring masks or quarantine, so unless you are breaking an actual law, stopping you from moving freely or holding you is false imprisonment, calling the police is knowingly filing a false report, and in between there is assault if they verbally abuse you, battery if they touch you, and if they get gross or nasty, hate crimes or sexual harassment or assault.
If you are forced to wear a mask and have a medical condition, and then suffer from said condition (or die) while on their premises, I hope those afflicted parties sue the corporations into goddamn Ed oblivion.
The issue is, can they tell you: You can only enter if you wear a white shirt? Or only if you hop on one leg? Or only if you make the Sieg Heil salute?
Now, the question is if they have free reign over who can enter their buildings, but given that alternatives are crushed over Covid1984, is it sustainable to allow big corporations who more or less now hold monopolies to dictate trivial demands to customers, especially if it would go against their own profit interests by disenfranchising their own customers?
The problem is, if you say "no, it must change" and enact a law, the law is permanent. Now if it could be temporary, for let's say 1 year with a fixed expiration date, it'd be another thing and very reasonable.
The government fucked with you, so the fuckery can be alleviated.
Walmart won't do it simply because its too expensive to check people. But airlines likely will. Colleges too. And Google and Apple will have apps installed on your phone that will be used at certain places like the social credit score shit the commies are using, and you won't be able to go to a ballgame or concert without it.
And several have already been sued, especially after that bitch with delusions of being more than the glorified waitress that she is got on the intercom of a flight trying to scaremonger people into thinking they'd be arrested for not wearing one. The "mandates" fall apart once people start to push back and apply the same laws and regulations that leftists have demanded be put in place for the past 30 years.
and you won't be able to go to a ballgame or concert without it.
You don't need to watch grown men throw or kick a ball around. You don't need to watch people talking into a microphone in a lyrical way. When you realize that you don't need the circuses then you start to realize just how much of society today is irrelevant. More people are realizing that every day judging by loses from things that are trying to open but failing miserably, like movie theaters.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but if there's no mask mandate I'm pretty sure lawyers will shit on Walmart for this. It's a lot different from no shirt/no shoes/no dice.
You have to go back.
You should. Better Governor. Georgia is corrupt af.
GO BACK, LEAVE YOUR COAT

in marco island in July I saw almost zero masks. I thought west coast FL was based.
Too many bitchy grannies in Naples I guess
I’m in fort myers, it’s the business forcing their employees to wear the masks. Masks are just bs.
Fuck Penny Taylor.
In Virginia you don't have a choice if you want to go indoors, it makes me wonder how the workers here are feeling about it as well.
Was it a chain restaurant?
Yea five guys
I live in Miami.

Try smiling and saying "no thanks" without slowing your stride. 100% effective for me so far.
Exactly. Walk with a purpose, don't make eye contact. If anyone bothers you and tries to push the point after you say "no thanks," "I have a medical condition."

I left a 5 star review for the store I work at just to give a big middle finger to the mask commies.
Implement a discount for customers who leave a review shitting on the mask nazis trashing your business.
Even with the Mask Gestapo agents at the door, I've found that the incantation "medical condition" is enough to shut them up. And "allergic to bullshit" is a medical condition, even if not yet documented in any medical text. :P
Doesn't do anything about Karens, mind you.
I've had enough practice with this by having a service dog. Karens will be shown a lead & copper shower soon.
My medical condition: A mind that determine the difference between real science and hoax propaganda "science"

I swear to G-d we weren’t going wild.
Maybe that one last Beach day on March 15th but honestly that was it.
Our stores and restaurants closed on st pattys day evening March 17th for good. Masks were in effect at all stores since March 20-something.
It’s all a lie. We’re not going crazy. Are businesses are fucked. Barely any tourism. Fake news is gonna fake bc they hate DeSantis.
I visited my aunt in St Pete’s in July and was shocked at crowded pool 🏊♀️ bars while down south was still a ghost town. I’m jealous of up north FL
EDIT: they held numbers back for 7 weeks in Miami lab & released them all on one day to make us look shitty. Buried down in paragraph 10 https://www.floridatoday.com/story/news/local/2020/08/12/state-reports-8-183-new-covid-19-cases-212-new-deaths/3349516001/

Walmart is private property. Don’t shop there if they have a mask mandate.
Not enough pedes understand voting with your dollars.
Jeff Bezos is a CIA-controlled megacuck globalist but everybody here still uses Amazon.
I've been in a compromise about this all year. I don't want to support Amazon, but at the same time I refuse to support a local business with a mask mandate. Not this mom! I made a point to not shop Amazon this season. Honestly, I can get the same deals at most local stores.
Walmart isn't allowed to discriminate, are they?
The idea of "private property" for large public businesses disappeared along time ago. As it should - too many governments let Walmart operate while everyone else was forced to close.
Good point! I love this. You're right!

No, you have a great point! Although I would never starve. I can fend for myself.
If you are forced to wear a mask and have a medical condition, and then suffer from said condition (or die) while on their premises, I hope those afflicted parties sue the corporations into goddamn Ed oblivion.

Didn't people try to sue over mask mandates citing ADA law and nothing came of it? Wonder if that could apply here.
