I see more and more people clambering for this everyday. Last night it hit a fevered pitch with the AP deliberately misquoting Barr.
I feel like we are being pushed to abandon Trump, and eachother, if he doesn't take specific actions RIGHT NOW. I am NOT saying we should be passive, or "trust the plan". But there is more for us to do than just prepare for conflict.
"The President of Peace" is going to try every single non violent option there is before he even thinks about using force. People talk about the Insurrection Act, and that Executive Order from 2018; but even though The President could attempt to use them, he doesn't want to. He's going through the process and seeing how things turn out.
I 100% agree.
And you're right. The insurrection act is not violent. I should have phrased the title a bit differently.
But it does open the door to the use of force when required. These communists have done a pretty good job in rigging the election. They weren't covert, and yes, they made many obvious errors. I would NOT expect them to go quietly into the night. Force may be required. Lincoln had the Chief Justice arrested. I would like to see JR given some special jewelry too. Other state officials that failed to protect the sanctity of the right to vote should be considered hostile. There will be resistance in my opinion. Stay ready!
Lincoln approved Seward's plan to issue the order for the arrest of Chief Justice Taney, but the order was never carried out, Taney was not arrested. A minor point though.
Good history!! We should know it so we don't repeat the bad parts.
