The problem is the CCP. Walmart, Amazon, Target, etc all have puppet boardmembers who are American but the real power is CCP. Grocers are the same. The only major grocery chain free of CCP influence is Kroger. You think Fry's died because it wasn't a good store? Fry's died because the Kroger family are hard nosed Orthodox Jews who weren't going to play China's game. Almost immediately Fry's stopped getting any stock (most of the products are made or are comprised of Chinese parts) and the stores are now a minute from being gone for good.
Trump is willing to play with people like Tim Apple and Elon Musk if he thinks he can entice them to become nationalists. So far, Musk building the Texas plant is a good sign. I hope the next step is Apple moving semiconductors to US. iSheep already pay a premium, so they won't blink twice about another $300 on to the bill because 100% of the next iPhone is made in USA
I'm pretty sure plenty of us patriots would also do it too. No doubt that 100% American phone would be lightyears ahead of their current models. Plus it's a security risk to have the inner workings of the most popular devices world wide known in 100% entirety to the CCP. Fab the die and you are a step away from knowing every backdoor. So far Apple software development has been good at preventing that, but in a war I think China would exploit their knowledge.
Edit: I'll add a little bit of depth. There's a common joke amongst techies or deal hunters about Fry's. The joke is "the last time I went to Fry's, it was just to buy water and soda, no wonder they're closing" This is a half truth actually. Kroger started giving Fry's a lot of Pepsico products and bottled water as well as other bulk items to try to keep traffic going into stores just to pay the bills. For a while, it worked. Going through their backstock of movies and printing supplies while padding each sale with excellent deals on beverages (typically $2 a pack of water or soda) was effective in keeping revenue up..
but without TVS, computer hardware, and video game consoles, you're dead in the water. Fry's could have gotten a little life support boost from Switch, PS5, and series X...but China's not going to allocate those shipments. If Fry's had actual electronic stock during the quote unquote pandemic, they would have turned everything around since their massive stores would have required little social distancing or capacity limits, and the addition of a grocer giving them add on items to sell.
Invisible enemy. This is what Trump meant. It's all China. Unfortunately every western country let it happen. In the future, American, Mexicans, and European men will drink in shame remembering their ancestors sold their freedom out to Chinese Communists for drugs (true origin of cartels) and cheap labor and trinkets
AT&T was broken up under Reagan administration, so think about that. Shortly after, long distance phone call prices dropped as did international phone call prices. And next came innovation: mobile phone carriers started sprouting up.
The idea of war is to make the other guy die for his country
Or for China.
Right? Who is the left going to die for exactly? Globalists aka rich white people they supposedly hate? Idiots.

You can thank Romney and Bain Capital for the invention of corporate raiding.
That’s what he said.
Calm down, Patton.
