I recently made a comment related to Climate Change on reddit.

And the climate change people rarely seem to have any knowledge of the actual history of earth.
Earths climate has been wildly, massively changeable throughout its history and we are living in a mind bogglingly rare 'island of stability' climate wise. A lot of them will deny this so vigorously it borders on psychosis. I was accused of 'posting misleading data' for posting RAW HISTORICAL DATA showing we are at the end of an Ice Age and proceeding into a period of warming. Raw Data now equals 'Misleading' apparently. I had made no statement about it other than posting it to show the planet will be getting warmer as part of a non-political conversation. If raw data threatens your viewpoint, it might be time to re-evaluate.
Ironically the climate change people are actually climate change deniers, to use their own parlance.
I should add that no one sane is suggesting we don't have an impact on Earth and that we shouldn't look after the environment and limit things like single use plastic, pollution etc, it is just that 'Climate change' is going to happen regardless of any action we take. It is just how planets like Earth work.

I actually agree with everything you said. You have to realize that all the people pushing this narrative have a sinister agenda. I would also recommend Bill Bryson's book The History of Nearly Everything. It has an excellent chapter on Geology and Ice Ages and how they relate to climate.
My favourite unpopular opinion: North America should not concern itself with man made climate change to any degree whatsoever and that opinion is agreed upon by both sides of the arguement, seeing as North America contributes nill to the "problem" and can solve essentially none of it whatsoever by policing themselves.
