If your in CA, they can’t require you to get a test. In fact, they can’t even ask you for a doctors note. Take two weeks off, use your supplemental sick leave (as long as your company has 500 employees or more), get paid to look for other work. It’s very easy, I’ve seen it done many times now
You might want to check your facts they just put an emergency order out yesterday. No we can't force you to get a test but no we don't have to keep you employed. Literally came out yesterday it's beyond ridiculous. Also if I require you to quarantine for 14 days I have to pay you. If anyone was planning on seeing California if I want to do it before it's entirely wiped off the map
