It's all botted. Remember, no one at the rallies. These people are a vocal minority. Imagine if 3 million people in the US, less than 1% of its population, posted 100x more frequently than the rest of the country. It would look like the country is evenly split, in terms of perceived zeitgeist. It's how the entire twitter sham rolls onward, it's manufactured zeitgeist. It's the same thing that happened to Reddit. At first, in 2012ish, people saw the astroturfing and reeled against it. But once it was entrenched, it "seemed" like no one was talking about it anymore because THE MAJORITY OF POSTS WERE FROM THIS 3%.
