I think the store had a purchase limit, so the group would just buy the limit, go outside and place it with the other stuff, head back in and do it again. They had an enormous pile, and they all just kept coming back out and adding more until the store was out. It was crazy, just this kind of single-minded, determined greed. It did occur to me, seeing how they acted, that we have no idea what it's like to starve or not have access to safe food and water. Here's hoping Comrade Harris doesn't get a chance to let us know.
