How good of a fucking expert are they if they say it "may" be a felony, or maybe how fucked up is the law written? The law should be clear on if it is a crime or not, one reason the "hate crime/speech" junk is bullshit, there is no clear definition it is just something they can use if they want to get you. If so called experts can't figure out if something is illegal, then the law is written poorly, or they are lying.
The FBI framed and tried to ruin Gen Flynn, you dont need to actually break the law for the swamp to make an example out of you, which is what this threat is meant to imply. Its a shot across the bow for anyone that might shine a light on the DS. "We own Law Enforcement, and now they are coming for you"
It's the same inarticulate language of the "fact checking" additions that social media companies are giving us. "Multiple sources called this differently," "This claim is disputed," etc. Nobody wants to put stick their neck out or put their name on the line. Why couldn't CNN say "We believe this to be a felony"? Because they 1) have no idea, or 2) know it isn't. They're just posturing and leveling threats without actually having to be accountable.
