Over half of these are the fake "Never trust anything you read on the Internet -Abraham Lincoln" meme quotes pedes fall for. I have no idea why they came into existence but apparently did in early 2000s. Disinformation? Slight ignorance? No idea.
If you go find the actual source that these shorter quotes are based off of, typically they are much lengthier in Old English writing which is harder to understand. Some also tend to not be so poignant in their defense for whatever subject the short quote's author is trying to convey it as - however reading the real Founding Father's letters to each other, declarations, etc is just as eye opening and true to liberty as these quotes more or less mistakenly are.
I like that explanation. They're suitable paraphrases and TL;Dr, but not properly attributed. Jefferson should not become a substitute for ALL our founding Fathers.
Incidentally, all Congressional records are kept in the law library in every County seat. By law. If that changes? Bad juju. You can get really familiar with all these guys by reading that.
Yup, I just hate when I see these shared and leftoids are all over them saying "ThEy NevER SaiD THAT". Well, they did and didn't actually, its just incredibly paraphrased to the spirit of the original.
Crazy thing is, it's true. All of it. It's all true.
At least one of them is unfortunately fake. But often attributed to him.

It doesn't matter if they are fake or real, ultimately.
It's a part of the mythos.
Reality as opposed to myrhos is important?
The guy was pretty rad, regardless!
My favorite is his (legitimate and verified) quote about how shooting guns is a far superior sport than sportsball. He knew, even then.
Wow, TJ was super based
