Been to his house? Seen his architectural plans for William and Mary College? I have. Fricking genius.

No, but it's on my bucket list. I went to DC for a week of museum crawling, but didn't make it to Jefferson's home. He's been my hero since I was a young boy. I disagree with him with regard to religion (he was a Deist, and I am a Christian), but he is undeniably one of the most inspiring, capable, talented, dedicated men to ever walk the face of the earth.

Totally agree. It's impossible to imagine this country without him. I put Franklin up there as well. Both deists. It was Franklin who scratched out "property" and replaced it with "happiness".
