Normal and expected. Yes of course women are more "pro-social." Men need to form teams and need to negotiate, and get past, any differences that aren't relevant to the team's objective. They learn to put up with eight idiots because they want to play baseball and nobody loves eight people. If they couldn't negotiate, they would never get anything done collectively, such as hunt.
Women however can't negotiate away their children. Children are an absolute. A woman might have ten, she still isn't going to part with any, no matter how useful the reward. So are husbands. You can't have him, either. For any price.
