I wonder if legally a sitting US senator could join a president's legal team (?). Cruz would be one HELL of an addition. Thanks for the book recommendation, always up for more choices. If you haven't yet, I STRONGLY recommend Lee Smith's The Plot Against The President (upon which the also-excellent documentary of the same name was based - book is obviously far more indepth and, literally reads like a Tom Clancy/Raymond Chandler spy novel, etc - just brilliant) and this year's 'sequel'/follow up The Permanent Coup. As well as Peter Schweizer's Profiles In CORRUPTION (from I believe April) - he had to spend SEVENTY pages just on the BIDEN chapter he is so outrageously corrupt; the Kum-a-lot Harris chapter is disturbing too, etc.

If it down to challenging the election results in Congress, that will be Cruz's time to shine.
This is a surprisingly good book for people who like history and law. He also shits on the ACLU a lot.
