The most we’ve done throughout all 8 wars is give them military aid (and even then it was only in response to the Soviets giving the Arab States aid).

But to claim that we have been “fighting wars for them” is dishonest. They have fought their own wars, we have traded with them and they have traded with us like every other nation on earth.

And it was also fought because Saddam Hussein was a fucking idiot. He practically dared us to invade him. Yes the Iraq war was a disaster, but Saddam Hussein was a fucking moron and didn’t deserve to rule. Not to mention his sons were convicted rapists. And it should be mentioned that Saddam Hussein, his family, and his supporters plundered all of Iraq’s wealth for themselves so that they could live in a life of luxury.
Lastly if we were fighting wars for Israel we would have invaded Iran a long time ago.
Also one last thing to consider, has it ever occurred to you that Israel might have its own deep state. They have a very powerful intelligence network and a very wealthy military-industrial complex. Both of these things are pillars of a deep state, so is it not possible that Israel has one of their own, and that it’s them causing all the supposed trouble?
Personally, I like Trump’s policy with Israel. He has bolstered up Israel and Saudi Arabia to act as bulwarks against Iranian Aggression, and this has the benefit of making Israel less reliant on the US by helping them build up an anti-Iranian military coalition with the other Arab states. I think we should continue his policy, it’s getting results with little bloodshed.

Before that, I figured he was just another northeastern leftard who figured running under the GOP banner was transgressive enough to give his primary candidacy a lift. For examples of what I mean, see Romney, Weld, Bloomberg, Christie, Florio, Snowe, Collins, and so on.
I still was not fully on board as I voted for Cruz in my state's primaries in 2016, but by September of that year I was behind GEOTUS enough that I wasn't a hold-my-nose voter in November.
I was blown away before March of 2017. I could not believe that he stayed true to the platform he ran on, and I realized what a fucking cuck I had been to casually expect the shitheads I voted for my whole life to stab me and my values in the back.

Once I realized that GEOTUS is smarter than I am and smarter than I will ever be, my support has been solid. I disagree with him on things like criminal justice reform and making believe that leftards are humans with rights, but knowing his take on these subjects differs from mine leads me to at least question mine.
The free-trade thing is huge for me too, I truly had no idea what it really was and ESPECIALLY what the implications were.
I didn’t trust corrupt institutions though, OR foreign wars (most of them anyway; Kosovo War and Bosnian Wars were duly justified because that was straight up genocide no matter how you look and didn’t cost us shit to stop, unlike the wars in the ME). Luckily my dad was always wise enough to tell me about what was bs and what wasn’t, and as I got older, I learned more on my own. What institutions were corrupt that you trusted? And what exactly is “intellectual conservatism”?
I no longer have faith in federal law enforcement. I used to be in this weird purgatory of knowing that the FBI, ATF, DEA, and every other federal agency's Federal Law Enforcement Officers (literally, since the Homeland Security Act of 2002 led to changing security guard billets into police officer jobs, which led to the Department of Education's having a SWAT team) had too many bad apples, but I still believed that the concept was a good thing. Think of Sean Hannity's and Christian Adams's fucking retarded, "but the rank-and-file…" arguments in the face of overwhelming corruption. I used to believe that shit.
I already knew about academia and civilian government fucked-upedness since I worked with plenty of commie retards at DoD over the years. GEOTUS shined a light on the fact that collectivists manage to rise to the top of the armed services because they embed themselves like ticks into the officer corps. This explains a shitload of stuff that was a mystery to me when I was in. Later, when I found that former peers of questionable quality made it far beyond where they should have reached, it never occurred to me that promoting them was a part of the system until GEOTUS forced a number of "heroes" to out themselves as swamp.
As for intellectual conservatism, I should have phrased it either as "pseudo-intellectual conservatism" or "intellectually detached conservatism." Either way works. As evidenced by the Never-Trump traitors over the last five years, too many of the "leaders" of conservatism were just putting on a show. Once GEOTUS started implementing everything they spent their entire careers clamoring for, they started acting like they had been kidding the whole time.

Trump shook up a lot of standard conservative talking points. It was - and is - quite genius how he reframes and issue and suddenly the flaw in the previous traditionally “conservative” viewpoint becomes obvious. Lol no they do not work 9-5 at 40 hours a week, doctors are complete slaves. The only docs who don’t work that much are psychiatrists and dermatologists, the former of which doesn’t make much money and the latter of which is the single hardest profession to get into. Some for internal medicine get lucky, but you should see residency—80 hours a week, 40k a year, all during graveyard shifts. Then once your health and life is destroyed from years of caffeine pills and no sleep, coupled with an ensuing divorce because you’re never home and are a shell of your former self, you start making more money. Don’t forget that if you’re a man, you likely are making more than your wife (since most women scorn men who make less than them and consider them subhuman; nothing against women, it’s just a hardwired biological reality that most don’t even realize is occurring), which means that you’re gonna be paying alimony and child support for the next 18 years + spousal support forever, so you really won’t end up making a whole lot of money in the first place.
Doctors aren’t nearly as smart or informed as you think, they’re just another cog in the wheel like the rest of us. The only difference is that they can write prescriptions and make a lot of money while being paid more (after their lives are destroyed). I was looking to become a doctor myself but all the bs stopped me from entering. The entire healthcare system sucks, honestly.
