I just walked into a Wal Mart Neighborhood Market that requires masks, without a mask, and the person at the entrance said I need to have a mask and tried to hand me one out of her box of masks, and I just ignored her and kept walking. Was able to get what I needed without a mask and wasn't kicked out or anything.
No idea why people at this point STILL believe masks work or make any difference.
I live in MA, too and saw this poor woman who had to hold her shirt over her nose the entire time she was picking up her coffee. She probably just forgot to bring one, but they wouldn't let her in otherwise.
