I don't think these cheaters realize what could happen to them. We could get things turned around in court and the guilty get processed by our justice system - OR - things don't get turned around and we have a Civil War. Then it's quite likely that they will receive justice at the hands of an angry mob - which probably will only require a length of rope and a suitable tree.

I don't advocate such treatment, but it is exactly what I would expect to happen.
