Not even Hawley opposed it, even though he pretends to fight big tech.

Rand Paul just gave corporations a huuuge subsidy. Libertarian, my ass.

Vote all the bums in Congress out. They are all crooks and stink to high heaven!

This is fucking disgusting. Most of the GOP are swamp creatures. I hoped Trump would have tackled the H1B Visa issue but it’s still completely fucked. This is one of the reasons I left the tech industry. Companies don’t use this to help staff because they are short on workers. They want it cause they can pay cheap wages and cut overhead (meaning fire American workers) while still raising prices on their products. And they still get subsidized from the government on top of it. All this while still running the bullshit COVID lockdowns killing small businesses all over the country. Makes me fucking sick.

What’s really stupid is that if somebody frustrated like you doesn’t want to be in employee of these IT companies anymore prefer to go out on your own, you will be punished with extra self-employment taxes for Social Security and Medicare.

This country was built up because our system left people alone to do their own thing and be the best that they could be.

Friedrich Hayek Was right. We are on a “road to serfdom”. Nothing has changed since 1940.

It really is a travesty. If I want to have my own company I have to make sure I dot every i and cross every t on taxes and paperwork or else the government will crawl up my ass to make life a nightmare. Meanwhile certain corporations now are at record high profits because their small business competitors are deemed non essential.

It just sucks that most people don’t see the lockdowns for what they really are. It’s a huge transfer of wealth and power from the working class to the ruling class.

And you are absolutely right. This country functions best when we are left alone without government intervention. Let people do what they do and they will innovate, invent, and create amazing things.

Trump has conservative instincts overall. I trust his gut. The problem is he doesn't think intellectually about things like someone such as Ron Paul would.

Ron Paul barely got any votes in the GOP presidential primaries, so obviously voters were too enamored with neocons in 2008 and 2012 or too stupid to understand the significance of Ron Paul's platform. So obviously Trump's method for getting elected worked. The problem is he filled cabinet positions with total crooks and listened to RINOs who never had his best interests at heart. Ron Paul always hired smart people who were in total agreement with his agenda.

But yeah, if you want to start a small business, you get taxed extra on social security/medicare self-employment taxes. Styxhexenhammer666 bitches about this all the time. Things are only good in this country if you are a big dog making money off of passive income from rent or a business. Our whole taxation system and economy is a giant pyramid scheme.

Thomas Jefferson would be weeping right now.

I love Trump. I also love Ron Paul. I really didn’t understand Ron Paul when I should have. I was introduced to him in 2012 but didn’t really pay attention until it was too late. I worked with a guy in 2012 who considered himself a “conspiracy theorist” who tried to red pill me but it didn’t sink in. It wasn’t until Sandy Hook happened and I read an article by a man named Mike Adams about gun confiscation that I started to see the truth. He lead me to Alex Jones and the dam burst. This was also after leaving the military and I started classes at a university where a teacher tried citing Marx. That was my turning point. So while we may see what’s happening others may be slightly behind. I think the issue with Ron Paul was that he seemed fringe at the time but people didn’t get a good image of him because Fox News wouldn’t even show him in the running during the presidential election. I hate seeing boycott Fox News posts when they have never really been on our side. I know Thomas Jefferson is weeping but I hope we can put a smile on his face soon. Keep your head up and keep changing minds. You may not be successful the first time but if you plant the seed then it may be easier for someone to come around the next time. That’s what happened to me.
