OP, I'm not military but I would say, (carefully) escalate your networking. Networking with LIVE people is so very important. Operating Mil units are BROTHERS. That mindset could help you find good friends. Trust but verify. Part of the reason to shut people up in their living spaces is to keep them from networking.
Find a way to network with folks from your local gun-range. Gently. Carefully. Easy does it. Put out feelers in your Church or body of Faith. Learn to hunt with experienced hunters. Nothing prepares us for being in the field like... being in the field... with weapons... handled safely. Also, does anyone in your vicinity teach gun-safety? Classes like that could include persons you need to meet (again, carefully). Remember, you don't want to expose any forming group to infiltration by deep-staters / traitors.
Where can you go to meet military veterans? A hospital? AmVets? Eagles Club? Show genuine respect and listen to them! Even unhealthy old-timers can be a wealth of knowledge. Do they know any healthy vets that might be interested in "networking" with other patriots? Proceed cautiously and respectfully. And, believe it or not, many EMT's and even HAM operators can be PRICELESS as relationships to cultivate for just exactly what we're facing.
Get yourself into the best physical condition you can, as quickly and as safely as you can. If your going to be of any value to any operating "unit", you DO NOT want to be dead weight to them. And, it's okay to do the "grunt" work. Get your mind and attitude ready to make yourself useful. A great sense of self-deprecating humor is an asset in any group. Being ready to do "MORE" than your fair-share is priceless.
Know anyone from your local National Guard or Civil Air Patrol? Cultivate some friendships there, if possible. And, if you can find a gunsmith, carefully cultivate a relationship there. LISTEN and learn. Also, verycute (above) has a suggestion regarding videos. There has to be some wheat among the chaff. Choose carefully. Begin making your multilayered plans. Primary plan, plan B, plan C and Emergency. More layers - carefully planned - are better. Continually update, cull and improve each of your plans.
As well, any mil-surplus or weapons merchandiser could be a place to meet like-minded people. In that regard, always respect the privacy (and paranoia) of others. "They" really are out to get you."They" really will use you to take down a unit of Patriots if you're not careful.
DEMONSTRATE your trust-worthiness if you want to win trust. But watch carefully for signs of betrayal. Gut feelings can be LIFE-SAVERS. Who's asking too many questions about your other friends? Who wants to know too much about where and when? On another note, learn to always be observant of the situation around you. Where are the exits? With what objects in the room could you defend yourself? Who - besides yourself - is worth defending and why? Who else might be a defender? If you're hurt, what will you do? If you survive unhurt, what will you do?
NOTICE things. With whom are you "coincidentally" crossing paths? Is someone following you? Who (all) came in the door behind you? When you're leaving, who is leaving just before you / with you / just after you? Can you tell, two cars back? Can you tell a block back? Make your daily routes to and fro "variable". Notice any "coincidental" crossing of paths.
Are there any "choke-points" on any of your routes? At a stop light or in traffic, can you find a way down the side-lane or across the median? Where is your phone? Where is/are your weapon(s)? What could you use? Your vehicle is - of course - a weapon. But it also could be a trap. Can you get out? Can you help others in your vehicle if needed? Is someone walking up / cycling up beside your vehicle? What are their intentions?
