I used to listen to Hannity on the radio, back in the 'Hannity & Colmes' days. The fact that he was friends with Colmes should have been a tip off. He became utterly unlistenable after getting some traction after 9-11. I noted he liked to make friends with every lefty like Lieberman and others too. Constant repetition and trite sayings pushed him into the trash can for me.
