David Cage cast her in the video game Beyond: Two Souls.
To get her on board, he approached her with a scrapbook of real childhood pictures of her and some that were computer generated. She didn't know where he got some of her photos.
Then she found out, in his obligatory main character shower scene (one he has for every game), that the model they used, while not scanned from her body, had the naughty bits fully rendered in the core assets.
I'm convinced, mostly as a joke but somewhat seriously, that David Cage creep'd on her so hard it turned her off guys for good.
Her turning into a dude may be a way to cope with the trauma of dealing with David Cage and his weird french-ness.
Keep in mind, I'm only halfway serious here but I wouldn't doubt it had some effect on her psyche.
Is Beyond Two Souls even a good game? I am planning to play it on rpcs3 once it becomes playable.
It's alright.
If you don't like flashbacks within flashbacks as a core storytelling device and non-chronological plots, then you're gonna hate it.
If you actually put the story in order, there are a lot of plot holes as well, which isn't good.
Don't expect a lot of gameplay though, it is a story/character game and only fun if you like a story.
I'd recommend, of all the David Cage games, you go for Detroit: Become Human first. Keep in mind, it is heavy-handed with Androids=Slaves thing, but not nearly as annoying as it could have been.
The story is basically like Inception. I have played story driven games before such as Fahrenheit made by David Cage. Pretty good game. How is Ellen Page's role in this game?
