Hey, anyone see the musical of 1776, and how the delegate from New York to the Continental Congress always abstained "courteously" only to throw in his lot in the end with the patriots regardless of what the New York state assembly said because his home was taken by the British? This is reminding me of that, New York has abstained (maybe not courteously) but now they're throwing in with having so much taken away from them.
